Bryden Halloway

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Bryden has worked in the freight forwarding, customs and logistics industry for 18 years.​ Prior to establishing Compliant Business Processing, Bryden held a GM role with a multi-national forwarder.​ In that capacity he instigated, implemented and oversaw the offshoring of a variety of operational, accounting and customer service tasks utilising 3rd parties in Indonesia, China, India and the Philippines and learnt much about the pitfalls and the intricacies of managing an offshoring project from the very beginning. ​Having a wholesale customs brokerage business exclusively servicing freight forwarders, Bryden realised that it made sense  to  establish Compliant’s own offshore team to assist with data processing activities.   ​It then became apparent that Compliant’s freight forwarding customers and others in the logistics supply chain would derive value from Compliant’s industry experience and our business infrastructure in the Philippines.  ​And so Compliant Business Processing was created, servicing freight forwarders, 3PL’s and transport operators with labour alternatives from the Philippines. ​

Clint Latta

DIRECTOR
Clint is the founding Director of Compliant Customs, Australia’s first exclusively wholesale customs brokerage – the same business that led to the evolution of the Compliant Group of companies, which as at January 2020 comprises of Compliant Customs, Compliant Trade Consultancy and Compliant Business Processing and employs over 200 staff across Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines.
Having commenced his career in 1995, Clint now possesses 28 years industry experience. Prior to establishing Compliant Customs, Clint was a lecturer in international trade for aspiring customs brokers and held senior positions in both the SME and multi-national sectors as well as working for over 5 years as a senior international trade consultant with both PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG.Clint believes the key to the success of the Compliant Group always has been and always will be the people and this remains his number one focus to this day. Clint is a passionate and energetic leader with an entrepreneurial spirit that provides a source of inspiration for the whole Compliant team.

Matthew Brown

SALES DIRECTOR

Matt has more than 21 years’ experience within the International logistics, customs and supply chain industry. Matt started his career in 1999, joining a small Customs Brokerage in Sydney, where he developed a keen interest in the world of international trade. Matt continued his career within multinational freight forwarders eventually moving into sales positions with landside service & equipment providers before moving into International Logistics recruitment space in 2008.

Matt went onto to establish his own supply chain focused recruitment agency in 2010, which grew into one of the largest providers of staff to the International Freight and Logistics industry in Australia. Whilst initially resistant to the Outsourced BPO service model, Matt sold his recruitment agency in early 2018 and joined CBP after reflecting on the pain points that many clients of his had identified over the years and realising that a strong BPO partner could contribute significantly in eliminating those pain points, and in doing so provide substantial savings and increased capabilities to industry members across the globe. ​

Dona Arnesto

SITE HEAD

Dona possesses 15 years of management experience in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics Industry. Dona ensures CBP runs efficiently and smoothly for our clients, from operations to support functional groupings within a BPO environment, and is instrumental in providing system standardization and leadership to the entire CBP Manila team. Dona is very much at home creating operational centers of excellence.

Dona also served as the Head of Service Delivery for Airfreight and Ocean freight at the DHL Global Service Center for their Freight Forwarding division, where she was responsible in providing overall leadership, management and responsibility of business systems, processes and performance results.

Dona also holds a Bachelor Degree in Customs Administration.

Alvin Suapengco

SR. OPERATIONS MANAGER

Alvin comes with more than 17 years of experience in the BPO industry with the last 13 years in operations management.

Prior to joining CBP , Alvin was the Airfreight Manager for DHL handling multiple workstreams within the airfreight division from different countries. He spent the majority of his professional career with Maersk Line where his knowledge of various functions in shipping and logistics, project management, automation, business intelligence, process improvement and lean six sigma has been refined.

As the Operations Manager of CBP, he is responsible for all the client accounts in the Manila office and ensures each team meet and exceed their targets.

Gab Perez

SR. IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER

Gab has more than 9 years of combined work experience in the Local and BPO industry sectors focused on Logistics/Freight Forwarding/Customs Clearance/Supply Chain services. On his commencement with CBP, he started as a Process Specialist and after a month, rose as an Operations Team Leader for more than 4 years. Handling one of our biggest clients end to end processes with a total of 34 Team members (started with 4 operators).

He then became part of the Implementation Team as an Asst. Manager. After 6 months, promoted to one of the Implementation Manager for CBP Manila as he has proven capable of handling new accounts and transitions.

He is responsible for leading the implementation of new accounts across multiple waves, managing both client and CBP staff through successful transitions. He is also responsible for designing metrics and developing Standard Operating Procedures, training materials, and other references.

Working side by side with our Sales Director and Site Head to support the execution and implementation of project plans to transition business processes offshore.

Gab is a graduate of BS Customs Administration at LPU-Batangas and an LCB (Licensed Customs Broker) here in PH. He is also a Classifier II after passing certification under IFCBAA (International Forwarders & Customs Brokers Association of Australia) formerly CBFCA.

Fe Adrid

SR. HR MANAGER

Before joining CBP, Fe has worked in different industries such as BPO, freight forwarding, food, and beverage companies; and she has been working as an HR Leader for these companies for more than 15 years. Fe finished a degree in Psychology and a Diploma in Industrial Relations.

As the HR Manager of CBP, Fe is managing the different aspects of people management along with her team. The HR team is handling the manpower requisition for different accounts of CBP – from selection, hiring, and onboarding of new employees. They are also in charge of labor compliances, policies and guidelines, ComBen, people development, and other aspects of the employee life cycle. As the HR Manager of CBP, she is working side by side with the Operations team, guiding them on their people concerns

Ronn Ivan Santos

SR. IT MANAGER

Ronn Ivan has more than 15 years of work experience in Information Technology and systems management. He started his career as an IT Support Specialist in DHL Global Forwarding in 2007 and then he was assigned to support the DHL Exel Supply Chain. Prior to working with CBP, he was an ICT Manager at Delsan Office Systems Corp.

As the IT Manager of CBP, he is responsible for the smooth running and effective operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware and software that is used within the organisation within limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines. He develops innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs. He is also responsible for regular server and database backup, coordination with internet service providers and IT equipment suppliers, biometrics administration, etc.

Ronn Ivan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Informatics Computer College, Caloocan City.

Navel Ortego

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Navel has more than 13 years of work experience in the local and BPO industry sectors focused on Logistics and Freight forwarding.

Prior joining to CBP Navel worked in DHL Global forwarding as a Process Specialist, after 2 years she was promoted to SPA/POC and after a year she became one of the Team Leads focusing on import and export airfreight end to end process and handling 18 team members – excluding 4 invoice transmittal messengers.

She joined the CBP family last 2017 as a Team Lead handling one of the biggest accounts with a total of 32 team members, which is also one of the unique structures – a team with a combination of QA and Process Specialists. The said account started in CBP with 5 FTEs only.

Her team was awarded Paramount Performance due to their best accuracy performance.

After 4 years, she was promoted to Operations Manager in which she is responsible to oversee the team or account under her division, making and applying operational strategies which will be applicable to the company and for the clients, and developing people.

She is a graduate of Bachelor in Secondary Education, but her ultimate dream is to be an accountant, reason why in her previous work she was part of an Internal remittance company and became an AP and AR specialist.

As part of her young age achievements, she is one of the youth leaders of different youth organizations and one of the Kabataan Chairman during her high school and college days.

Cris Fermilan

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Cris has a combined experience of 15 years in the Local logistics and Shared services Freight Forwarding industry handling operations management.

Prior to joining CBP, Cris started as a process associate, moved up to Team Leader, and became Team Manager for Ocean Freight in DHL Global forwarding – Shared Services. Where he handled various workstreams including ASPA, Americas, EMEA, and Europe. He is a learned professional with an unmatched experience in stakeholder management, and people development and possesses an excellent record of BP relations and timely service delivery which has been substantial in the company’s business success.

As the Operations Management of CBP, His duty includes handling operations and transactional teams for UK and Canada. Making sure that the team will deliver high-quality performance and client satisfaction.

Cris is a graduate of BS Computer Science at Philippine Christian University.”

Johanna Chua

MARKETING MANAGER

Johanna is a tech-savvy and strategic communications overseer possessing more than six (6) years of digital marketing experience. Her areas of expertise include content development, social media management, graphic design, brand development, and product management.

Before joining CBP, Johanna held multiple brand and marketing positions from her previous employers. During her tenure with these companies, Johanna was able to hone her skills which eventually led to her being adept in providing strategic and tactical analysis with a blend of critical thinking and creativity in developing marketing campaigns.

As CBP’s Marketing Manager, she is responsible for the following marketing activities: graphics creation, social media management, copywriting and content management, website management, analytics, and online advertising.

A proud graduate of Far Eastern University, Johanna received her B.A. degree in Mass Communication with a Magna Cum Laude honor.
